Parker Improves Fluidic Designs with R9 Liquid Valves

Recently, Depatie’s primary supplier, Parker Hannifin, announced the release of the R9 Diaphragm Rocker Isolation Liquid Valve, a valve that improves performance of clinical diagnostic, analytical chemistry and agent detection systems that necessitate precision fluid control. Offering a flow rate that is comparable to 16mm valves, the 9mm R9 allows for more efficient fluidic circuits and shortened fluid channels.

According to Parker’s Senior Product Manager, Don McNeil, “[The] new valve series will enable more efficient designs that reduce fluid usage and increase throughput. As we listened to the future requirements of life science OEMs, the need for simplified and compact instrument designs became clear.”

The R9 is well-suited for a wide range of medical applications such as in-vitro diagnostics, hematology, flow cytometry, chromatography, liquid handling and precision flow control.
